I'm working on a toshiba 2.5 inch hard drive MK4310MAT ( 4.3 gig)
fdisk recognizes it okay. but stops at 28% in verifying it.
gives me the error "write protect error"
anyone know what this is all about.
  I'm trying to low level format it now. it's finding all kinds of
errors.
