I have a Radeon 7500 64DDR card and was wondering a couple of things.

1. When I play some games such as counterstrike my fps(frames per second) are only about 50. I was getting the same with my old GeForce II card. I know other people that have the same card and lower (Radeon 7200) that get the max of 99fps constant on a resolution of 800x600 (the same I use). What I would like to know is if this is right or if I should be getting a better rate. To me it would seem that I should.

2. It doesn't give me many options as far as overall screen resolution.... (ex: the max resolution I can use is 1024x768). Even though anything above this would be really small shouldn't it allow me to do so??

My computer specs:
AMD 1.2Ghz Processor
Asus A7A266 Motherboard
512MB DDR 2100 RAM

I think that's all.
Curt
