Hi Bharat,

Check your power to the computer at the wall outlet. Insure that the third
conductor is indeed grounded.

Switching power supplies are nasty, messy and inefficient, but they are also
inexpensive (read cheap) which is the only reason they are used.

Transient voltages in the case are enough to kill most electronic components if
they are not allowed to go to ground.
