Joseph,

The disk probably does not have a partition on it. You should be able to
locate the drive in disk management, right click on it, and create one or
more partitions. There is really no need to create more than one anymore
though.

Once it has a partition, it should show with a drive letter and you can
format it.

My Usb drive shows on Device manager under drives but no drive letter under
disk management.I want put a drive letter on it to be able to format.
