$100 is a little less for a good 3D card. However, there is a half decent
card for you. Looking for a nVidia MX400 card, it has reasonable 3D support,
reasonable FPS, most important, nVidia has the best driver support. it
should take most newer games without any problem, but heavy 3D related games
require a better card (or you have to drop resolution).

There might be other options, but consider their driver support, I will not
recommend them. eg. ATi has promised to improve driver support, but they
have always been saying that, and never happen, so if you want to buy now,
nVidia is the only one to go. However, I do hope ATi will pick up what they
lack in the past, so nVidia would have a little challenge.
