It doesn't. An ADSL connection is always connected when the 
computer is running. He uses it during the day for various things 
and the cameras operate at night. He does not use the remote access 
for cameras. He had this problem before the cameras were installed.

He uses Netscape for both email and browser. I have tried IE but 
that does not work either so I doubt that it is the browers/email 
program at fault.
