Open up the case, disconnect the power switch, jump the jumpers to get the
system started, turn system off, system should stay off, replace power
switch.

If the system turns on again, it's got a life of it's own, it's possessed,
call exorcist <g>.

Seriously, if you disconnect the power switch that runs from the case to the
motherboard, the only power connection left would be the power supply to the
motherboard and that connection does not turn the system on. If the switch
is not bad then the motherboard is the one that keeps turning itself on and
it's bad.
