I intend connecting the two machines by the cheapest and simplest method I can
find, but I have done nothing about it yet. Win98 has only the network card
which I use to connect to the internet via ADSL (and a modem which I no longer
use, and is not plugged in to anything). Win95 has a modem. Neither has any
other hardware which has anything to do with networking.

If I click on Entire Network, I get an error message saying (translated to
English) that I can't browse the network, and that I should use the problem
solver in Win98 Help to solve the problem.

Do I understand correctly from Alan that this is perfectly normal, until I
have at least a second card and some kind of sharing set?

Thank you.
