Just my 2c. Jameco (you can get a catalog from www.jameco.com) offers
in their catalog a dual, high speed, PCI slot, parallel port card for
about $70(US) (sorry, it is not available on their web site). So it
gives you a total of three parallel ports for your computer (LPT1, 2 &
3) without using any additional IRQ resources. Then each printer can
have its own port and with win9x multitasking, you may? even be able to
drive both printers at the same time (don't really know about that
because I use Win3.1x). Just a few bucks more than an automatic switch
and probably more useful. (Yes, Jameco sells overseas too).
