BlankHello everybody!

I need some advice with regard to newer technology that I am not familiar
with. Please help me find answers to the following queries:

Firstly I need to know whether DDR sockets are backward compatible with
SDRAM? That is, can I plug SDRAM mods into DDR sockets on a mobo and hope to
get it working?

Can newer socket A athlon xp mother boards take an old 1ghz athlon
k7/thunderbird (not exactly sure which I have) tray type CPU?

Newer mother boards with AGP 8x are backward compatible with AGP 2x VGA
cards right ?

TIA
Abdussamad
