I would not pay the extra 400$  for a five year warranty. Save the 400$ and
in five years he can buy a pentium VI 3000 MHZ. and get back change. I
whatched a program that sees the day internet servers throwing a computer in
with the deal, just to sign with them .Being it,s a sony the standard
warranty and services must be pretty good anyways.
