Ok This switch to my new setup would be riddled with problems I just didn't relize how many. I switched moniters and that took care of the flickering problem but that will present another one later on(When I try to get the dual moniters back up). I have a small HDD that I was using to test with (1.2gig). It had windows 98 se on it and it seemed to adapt ok but it had a minimal set up and needed to recognize all the new equipment in the new setup. I decided I would format C: and reload windows and all the new drivers for all the new stuff. Well it won't complete the load. Once it gets to the point where it's trying to recognize and load all the new plug and play devices it locks up. I have tried reloading it 16 ways to sunday and reformating and Fdisking till I as blue as the screen of death. I have tried everything but a new copy of win 98se. Which I don't have but I am considering it. I took the HDD from the old computer and switched them over to try that and it says the registry has errors and won't start. Maybe I can delete the old registry in DOS and force it to create a new one(that doesn't even sound like a good idea).
