That's strange. I recently purchased a SOYO Dragon MB myself
and last night I checked it with hardware monitor. Said the CPU was
431 degrees fahrenheit and the case was 413 degrees. After
shutting it down and getting it to start back up later with some
problems (I had to flick the switch on the power supply a few times)
the readings were back to normal (81 degrees for the case temp
and 113 degrees for the CPU). Since there was absolutely no heat
coming out of the back of my case I assumed the sensoring
mechanism was messed up. And of course I'd had no problems at
all with it shutting down and frying. Kind of glad to know it might be
something in the MB and not fan failure othat's giving these false
readings. And of course I have the CPU save settings in the bios
shut down. Think I'll get one of those front panel temp monitors
instead.
