I have a HP VS17E LCD monitor that is no longer functional. During a
recent storm, I think it was destroyed by an energy surge but I'm not
sure. The screen has a spot near the right hand corner that looks like a
windshield that was hit by a stone. Could the storm have done this?
The rest of the screen now looks like it is a broken window pane with a
jagged edge across the top. It no longer displays the Windows desktop
when the system comes on. Any ideas? Probably a throw away now. Anyone
else experience this happening?

Thanks
