You don't say what OS you are using, but in  any case I'd suggest unintalling the NIC and reinstalling to see if that works. If you are using Win 9xMe/2000 you can remove it using device manager.  Make sure you check for recent updates to the drivers on the manufacturers web site before you do the reinstall. Hard to say why you are having this problem, but the quickest way to see if you can get up and running again short of buying a new NIC is to remove and reinstall.
