OK--so far I've tried all suggestions regarding making this video card work.
Downloaded ms 12.41 ref driver---directx 8.0a--- the kitchen sink and
installed all.  Now I can't play any games at all.  Every time I load
one---the intro comes up fine and then the screen goes black and stays there.
 The only way I can recover is to hit reset on the box.  Otherwise, I have
normal graphics everywhere else.  Anybody got any other suggestions.  I need
help.  I've been fighting this problem for about 3 weeks now off and
