Assuming he is not over clocking the CPU or the video card ...? And is
experiencing no other problems like BDSs or lockups when running windows
...? Then I would suspect the video card drivers. A Celeron 533 with 128
megs of ram Voodoo 2 should handle any game with ease as long as the game
is set up correctly. However I have a 550 with 250 megs of RAM and a
Diamond TNT2 ULTRA and I get these little hangs occasionally when playing
Quake III. I write if off to a problem between the video driver and the
game itself. But you say this occurs with any game and every 15
seconds..which would make any game unplayable..... so I would try a
different video driver ...maybe the 3D FX reference drivers....
