Just a thought, do you have sufficient cooling for the AMD chip? AMD's are
prone to overheating, especially if the cooling isn't sufficient. This will
cause all kinds of nasty error messages to appear. Had this happen to me
when the fan stopped on my AMD. I thought for a while my computer had lost
it's mind.

Even if you have heat sink and fan on the chip, check to see if it is rated
to cool the processor you have.

Fran
