I have a computer with a MB fairly new, I believe Year 2000. The manual
states that it supports all Socket 7 processors with a 100MHz system bus.
I have been using a 300 MHz AMD processor figured at 100 MHz. A program
reads the actual speed as 285. Another program did the same. I
installed a 350 MHz AMD processor and the programs tell me that it is
reading 333MHz. Can you tell me why the 300 is not 300 and the 350 is
not 350? I let it automatically detect these processors.

Joe
