In an old message, Alan Schneider <[log in to unmask]> answered a
message called "cd drive on computer with 200MB HD?". In the answer, he said
that

Can somebody explain why, when the HD and the CD are connected in the same
cable, the HD will follow the CD speed, even when the CD is idle?
