No idea why (maybe marketing reason), but they always divided by 1000, not
1024, so when you see a label 9.1G, it's not. My 6.4G harddisk shows real size
is 6.01G. Do they know 1Gb is 1024Mb, 1Mb is 1024Kb? I guess they know it, but
never using it.
