Jim,

I was using a screen saver, it was just one of those that come with
windows98, in fact it's the one where the local time floats around on the
screen.. but even when the screen saver is activated, i can stop the screen
saver when i'm ready to work on the computer again, and then find things
frozen.. but i did turn off the power management in the control panel, and
the screen saver..

I was wondering, in your opinion, do you think it could be the results of
needing more RAM? Someone told me that upgrading the memory would solve my
problem and was just wondering if that could clear up the freezing problem
or not.. but i'm wondering if it was a memory issue before, then why wasn't
it freezing up long before now... Thanks for all the help.
