I have an Omnibook laptop with the "touch pad." I also have a "Y" connector
plugged into the back of the laptop that permits me to add a "regular,"
full-sized keyboard AND an external mouse - both in use at the same time,
along with the "touch pad." The "Y" connector is a connector I had purchased
from IBM when I had a ThinkPad - but I'm sure that a computer store like
COMPUSA or similar would have a similar item - or could order one for you -
if you tell them what you want to do.
