I guess that's peculiar to Win Me, which I don't have.  With Win 95/98 I've
never seen that message and had the compy auto shutdown.


That's interesting to know - I had written sayng I get the message most of
the time and then always have an auto shutdown.

I get the "It's know safe"  message about 90% of the time and run ME as an
OS and never have to manually shutdown (except a couple of times after
extreme conflicts that had nothing to do with normal shutdown).
