Hi all,
I recently upgraded my old Pentium 120 to the SOYO 5EH5 MB with an AMD550
due to several suggestions off this list. Suddenly I get no post. All fans
spin, HD spins up but no post beep or video signal. Is it possible that a
dead CMOS battery could cause this? Is there a way to determine if its the
battery, CPU or MB without replacing parts? A battery is easy enough and no
$$ to speak of, but I can't see replacing either the MB or CPU just to
determine which is the bad component. This also could be my first venture
into RMS's and the like :(

As always, Thanks
Brad Loomis
