Hello All,

I have an internal Motorola Modemsurfr 56k flashed to V.90. I love the
performance but when I go offline, it disconnects from my ISP but it won't
let go of the phone line. Yesterday my phone line was off-hook all day long
because I didn't realize the modem didn't hang up. I have a phone plugged
into the back of the modem and when I bypassed the modem, the phone worked
fine. This is an intermittent problem. I'm thinking the relay on the modem
is bad. Is it worth changing the relay to see if it's the problem? Or are
there some settings I can change in Win98? Has anyone else had a problem
like this?

Thanks in advance for all replies,

Dennis Thiel
