If your sound card has an IDE port on it (a lot do) and you used the
specific sound card's drivers, you can connect your CD rom to it and free
up one of the other connectors for your Zip drive.  My son's computer is
set up this way. Just look at the sound card manual to see if it has
one.  None of the other devices will work on the sound card IDE though so
don't even try to connect the CDRW or hard drive to it.
