Same as IDE drive, use Fdisk, or 3rd party software such like partition
magic. To boot from SCSI drive, you have to make change in BIOS, so your
computer will boot from SCSI first. Once you set SCSI to be boot drive,
win98 will remap all drive letters, take a extra care with letter changes,
it won't be the way you expected.
The rule for drive letter (for win9x):
C - first primary, D - second primary, E - logical drive on first harddisk,
...
 so be prepared for it.

I have a feeling that termination is the issue here. are you sure Zip drive
and CD drives are terminated (not just the cable)?
