Hello,
I have had some problems with my system and it seems to be corrupt for some
reason and maybe many reasons.
Anyway, I have a 20 GIG Harddrive that is partitioned, 10 on C drive and
10 on D drive.
I have Windows 98SE with Windows PLUS on it.
The problem is it will not let me just wipe out the C drive and re-install Windows.
Says something about compression. And someone told me since I have Windows Plus on here
and with the partitions I need some special Boot Floppy that Windows does not put
out to do this as I do not want to kill my D partition at all. I just want to do a clean
install on C drive.
Anyone know of this special Boot Floppy I need and how I can get one?
I would really appreciate any help on this. Need to do this soon, system is very
unstable right now. I think I picked up a Virus and too many files changed. Better
just to do a clean install and all that. I have backed up everything also.
