You friend is about to be ripped off! In my house I have one computer with
a modem in it, and it accesses the Internet. I can use any one of the other
four computers to connect to the Internet across my home network through the
PC with the modem. Since my ISP assigns a new IP address every time I dial
into it, they don't know which PC I'm connecting with, or even if I have
other PCs.

Have your friend go to either techtv.com or techrepublic.com. They can give
step-by-step instructions on how to set it up.
