Greetings all;

    I have a slightly used PGA370 socket motherboard (probably manufactured in '99) and am reasonably certain that it is in working order. Which is the fastest Celeron processor I can install? I am able to locally find 800 MHz Celerons, which the vendor says will fit, but will it run? Also, can anyone tell the chipset?

    The jumper settings etched on the board indicate that 66 and 100 MHz are available, as well as 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, and 6x, up to a maximum of 600 MHz. Another jumper gives settings for 66, 75, 83, 100, 103, 112, and 133, which I assume is the bus speed. Award Bios 1998. Three ISA, four PCI slots. One AGP. Intel AGPset FW8244BX. Intel PCIset FW82371EB.

    If anyone would like to identify the board, I would be quite happy to email them a picture. Thank you.

Bill
