SONY CD Extreme problem

I recently installed a SONY SPRESSA Professional CD-ReWritable recorder
which is fine except I can't open the included CD Extreme software.  It
gives me an error window indicating that it can't find the PXSUB.DLL
file.  I know the file is there.  Perhaps it's trying to look for the
Win95 directory under c:\windows when in fact it's c:\win95 on my
computer.  It's dual bootable for Win95 and my original Windows 3.1
program.

Any advice?
