Hi,

I've just put together a simple home network of two pc's with a hub and
cable.

The network works fine with all the correct settings selected and I log onto
the network as administrator through the first computer.

The only problem I am having is that now if I wish to use the second
computer on the network for accessing the internet I get connected but as
internet explorer or my email program attempt to work, I get an illegal
operation saying "iexplorer has caused an illegal operation and will be shut
down".

Before connecting to the network this computer had no problems accessing the
internet with it's 56k modem.

I feel myself it's a protocol issue but am not sure and hope someone can
explain to me on this list if I need to make more setting adjustments.

Many thanks,

Paul.
