To specify what Windows does if the system stops unexpectedly

Search for the above in WinXP help. (You OS is not listed...)
This will get you error messages you might be able to do something with...
On number three, set to NOT re-boot...

Are you running the latest Video drivers.

Spontaneous re-boots can be caused by drivers, hardware problems,
and/or overheating.
