Hi,
   You mention a HD crash.  Did you replace or simply remove it?
 A SCSI chain has to be terminated on both ends.  If you have
only the card and all external or all internal, the card and the
last device in the chain have to be terminated.  If you have
both internal and external, then the card must not be
terminated, but the two devices on either end of the chains must
be.  Is it possible that the internal chain is no longer
properly terminated?
