Erase all passwords (search for *.pwl) and then uninstall Client for
Microsoft Networks under Network properties - reboot - and then re-install
it. You will be prompted when you re-boot for a password which you may then
leave blank and you shouldn't see this box again. Let me know how you make
out. I get my cable modem tomorrow.......hope your enjoying it.

(From Tim Johnson)
How does one get rid of the Windows Logon dialog box that appears during
boot up in Win 95? I've tried going in to "passwords","users" and "Network"
in Explorer, but can't seem to disable this. I've even gone into setup by
hitting the Del key during POST/BIOS setup, and disabled the password
function in there, but obviously it's a different one, because it didn't do
the trick.

Previously, this box did not appear at all, but now I use a cable internet
service with a NIC card, and I'm thinking that it has something to do with
that. Advanced thankyou to anyone who can help.
