Thank you for your informative message.

I will try autostreamer and see how it goes.  I would sure like to add
ALL of the updates to my slipstreamed CD but I do not understand the
concept of administrative updates/download.  My visits to the Microsoft
site have come up empty (altho I did see reference to Office
administrative downloads).  Can you point me in the right direction to
find these administrative updates?

I assume that if I can master the XP slipstreaming the same process
should apply to my Office 97 and Word 2000 CDs and updates

Hope you are enjoying your Memorial Day weekend and that your weather is
much better than the continuous rains we have been having in Nova Scotia
all month.
