Dan,

I ran across the AntiEXE virus last year.

I used the DOS version of F-Prot to get rid of it.
It is available for free download from many shareware
sites. It is also on the Data Fellows web site.

First boot from a clean, write protected floppy disk.
Then run F-PROT from floppy disk to remove the virus.

You will also have to check your floppy disks for this virus.

I now use the VET (commercial software) antivirus program which allows the
option
of creating a floppy 'reference' disk. The reference disk can then be run
from the floppy drive, if need be, to get rid of any  hard to get rid of
viruses.
