I get the same thing (actually 4 pictures) when I tried to go into a higher
resolution
than the monitor supports. I can do 640x480 but anything above that at I
"lose sync"
Really the monitor can handle 800x480 but not 800x600. The x480 is what I
was using
in win 3.11 but I don't have the proper drivers to get the same in win98,
still using the
win95 drivers for now.
So what you have to do is go back down in resolution until he finds one that
works.
