For $100 you're not going to get any of the things you mention unless you're buying them used. You will not be able to see the improvement, if any, in the speed of your broadband connection. I also am an excite@home survivor. I replaced my former computer which had an 800 Mhz PIII, with a new 1.8 gig computer. It does a lot of things faster, as it should, being 225% faster than my old dead one. I can't see that in how fast my pages load or how fast I download. I found www.compuplus.com selling a P IV 1.8 gig for $235, but, of course, you'd have to get a P IV mobo, new memory, a bigger power supply, and a few other things. Try doing a google search to see if you can overclock your 750 to a higher speed. Use the $100 to buy the modem ATT rents you for $10 a month. You'll be further ahead.
