This question may be both hardware and software related:

I have two computers; Win98 with SP1 (machine one) and Win98 ME (machine
two) approximately 70' apart. I also have a cable modem and D-Link hub (near
machine one) and cat 5 wire to network cards on each machine. Machine one
has a Brother multifunction printer/fax etc connected to it via the parallel
port. How can I configure software and/or hardware on each machine so that
machine two can print on the Brother printer/fax? The following are NOT
viable alternatives:

1. Moving the cable modem and hub to machine two. (Difficult cable coax
move)

2. Upgrading machine one to Win ME (machine one is AMD K-5 133 with 40 mb of
RAM)

3. Moving printer/fax so as to be connected to machine two"s parallel port.
(No room)

All explicit and detailed step-by-step suggestions/recommendations greatly
appreciated. Thanks!

Steve Brown
