In order to disable the win 9x startup screen you simply need to edit the
msdos.sys file in c:\ (using notepad), and under options add a line that
says, "Logo=0." The default setting is to leave the line out, which is the
same as Logo=1.
btw, the file is read-only, so you will need to right click the file,
properties, unclick read-only, before you can edit and save it.
