Hi James

ADF stands for Automatic Document Feeder...It's an add-on for HP
flat bed scanners. If you have an HP flat bed scanner, there's
probably an ADF made for that scanner. It's a device that attaches
to the top of the scanner which feeds pages into the scan area one
by one. I've never used one of these.
