Hi;
The thing with P1 PC's is that they couonly stand ( Detect ) a HD of maximum
of 8GB even if you connect a large one it will use 8GB of it.
To solve this problem you need to use a program called EZ. It is a very good
program Download it from any download site and make use of all of your HD;
Bye.

Subject: [PCBUILD] advice please

Dear sir,
My PC will not detect a new hard drive (40gig).
I gather it could be the bios that needs upgrading.
These are the details of mother board etc. I have managed to glean obviously
it is an old machine.
Pentium-MMX CPU @ 188Mhz
Award modular bios v4.51PG
Award plug and play bios extension v1.0A
07/21/97 i430vx-ite 8680   2A59GS2GC-00
Board/bios version VD-B5 soyo
chipset i430vx-ite 8680//intel triton-vx socket 7 based m/b
Most of these things mean nothing to me I hope they do to you and you can
offer some assistance in this matter.
Thanking You in anticipation.  Bewildered.
