This is a Classic board. One of the best ever made, I'm all for
keeping it in service. You are correct that your present video card is
THE weak point of your system.

Though I have seen plenty of ultra stabile T2P4s with K6-2s and K6-3s
at 400MHz (6x66) and 450MHz 6x75

i have seen up to 384MB RAM too

I mostly used Voodoo 3 3000 PCI and Voodoo 3 2000PCI with these
boards. Very stable and drive large monitors with crisp fast 2D. You
might find one used

Diamond Viper V550 PCI with TV-OUT (NVidia RIVA TNT) these always work
too

I have also seen ATI Xpert98 and various older TNT2 boards (not
M64.can't remember the brands) Also saw a Voodoo 5 5500 64MB PCI and
a Voodoo 4 4500PCI

TNT and GeForce boards vary a lot and with all the model variations I
doubt their manufacturers care to check them in mainboards more than a
year or two old.

You don't need an ultimate latest video card because you don't need
to keep up with a GHz CPU that you don't have or for most uses need..
