Well, a fatal exception 0E error is bad memory. Usually this error is caused by two or more pieces of information trying to share the same memory location.
Since this is a persistent problem, you may need to check the CMOS for exceptions and verify your device drivers.
If everything checks out, try changing out the RAM banks and see if you have a bad stick of memory.
Hope this helps.

<< Hi all
About a week ago I started getting the subject BBSOD on startup. It
says "fatal exception OE has occurred at 015F:BFF72830". After I hit
the enter key sometimes it continues to bootup and sometimes it just
hangs at the startup screen. My computer has been working without any
problems until then. I have not added any new hardware or software
what so ever. Any idea what could be causing this problem and/or a
possible solution. My system is as follows:

p3 450mHZ
p2bF mobo
128 Megs ram
Diamond Vipper 770
20.5 WD 7200 HD
19" Optquest V95 monitor
50X CD Rom
HP 8200i CD Rom Burner

TIA
Andy
