What has changed in your PC recently maybe coinciding with
the problem? What OS are you using? Do you have networking?
Do you have any power management features enabled? Do you 
have ACPI enabled? Do you have any  power features enabled
from the bios?
I found this recent problem myself with win98SE, it rebooted
after I went to shutdown. I found out it was my newly installed
Internet Connection Sharing feature that did this. So I clicked
to disable it before I shut down and then all went ok with
shut down. 
If you would describe your symptoms, and give more info
on your system, repost and maybe we could find an answer.

Hi All: Recently when I shutdown, my computer reboots by
itself and its necessary to shutdown using the power
