We have an AOpen MX3ZA motherboard running win98se. We have the manual and
it says that it is a "batteryless" design. If you keep it plugged in, you
don't need the battery. All was fine, since it was hooked up to a UPS, but
when we decided to move, I had to reset time, etc even though it had a
battery installed. I check the voltage and it was OK, but decided to
replace it anyway. To my chagrin, when I took power away, I had to reset
things again. I can find no jumpers or any other mention in the manual.
Anyone have a similar experience? or know what is going on?
