Greetings Listers,

I am dealing with a system that won't post, and give nothing but a blank
screen.  I have tried disconnecting everything, and I still do not get any
display or post beeps.  When the IDE cables are left connected, the HDD
light stays lit solid from the moment the machine is powered up; if the
cables are disconnected, the light stays out.  Also tried a different video
card.  The CPU fan does power up.  I have heard of some issues with burned
transistors and leaking capacitors on these boards, but my inspection
reveals nothing along these lines.  Also, I have done a pin-by-pin voltage
check of the power supply, and all seems well.  Was going to try a BIOS
update out of desparation, but the machine doesn't even seek it's floppy
drive to find a boot disk.  Any insight or suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
