Hi,

I know I have tried this with XP Home several times, not Pro (yet), when
working on a system that people "forget"
to leave their logon password with.

when booting up, press F8 and select the safe mode boot.

That will show up the administrator logon as wall as the other user(s).
Usually you can go right in the administrator account and reset (one of) the
user account(s)
and then boot up in regular mode to get in.

I then let them people know about it when they pick it up.

Thanks and have a Great Day!

Joe Lore
